Registration: Please submit all entries via DirectAthletics. 

• Registration Opens: 12:00 am, Wednesday, March 16
• Registration Closes: 11:59 pm, Tuesday, March 29

Entry Fees:

• $15/athlete for all athletes who register before deadline (no cap for teams) + 6.5% transaction fee to Direct Athletics

Race day registration will be available for $30 until the start of the meet or one hour before the desired event, whichever is earlier.

Max 3 events per athlete.

Order of Events: The order of events is (with men’s events preceding women’s)

• 10:00 am: 5000 m run
• 11:30 am: 4x800 m relay
• 12:00 pm: 110 (men)/100 (women) hurdles
• 12:00 pm: 100 m dash PRELIMS
• 12:20 pm: 1 mile run
• 01:00 pm: 1 mile unofficial racewalk
• 01:30 pm: 100 m dash FINALS
• 01:45 pm: 4x100 m wheelbarrow relay (fun event)
• 02:00 pm: 400 m dash
• 02:20 pm: 800 m run
• 02:40 pm: 200 m dash PRELIMS
• 03:10 pm: 2 mile run
• 03:45 pm: 200 m dash FINALS
• 04:00 pm: 4x100 m relay
• 04:15 pm: 4x400 m relay
• Events will run up to 5 minutes ahead of this schedule.

4xWheelbarrow Event: Please register for the MIT Happy Beaver premier event, the 4x100m wheelbarrow relay! See this video. Two pairs of relay athletes will each cover 200 m of the track, with the pair switching who is the wheelbarrow after 100 m. 

Spectator Admission: Free

COVID-19 Policies: All participants and spectators are required to adhere to MIT’s visitor guidelines. There are no masks required outdoors or indoors, but please see MIT’s requirements at https://now.mit.edu/. 

Check-in: You may check in with the clerk up to 60 minutes before your event. Please check in no later than 20 minutes before your scheduled event time, or you will be scratched. We will run up to 5 minutes ahead of the listed schedule. We will release a schedule after registration closes. 

Heat Sheets and Results: Heat sheets will be posted in the facility and emailed out to participants after registration closes. Final results will be available there and emailed to participants. Meet updates and results will be posted online via DirectAthletics and in the facility as the day progresses.

Restrooms/Locker Rooms: There will be restrooms next to the track as well as inside the Z-center. Anyone not racing immediately should use restrooms inside the Z-center.

Parking: Parking is available in the Westgate Parking Lot, 282 Vassar Street, Cambridge MA 02139 (6 min walk to the track). Each team will get 1 free reserved parking spot if arriving before 10 am. Please collect a parking ticket from Westgate and bring it to the check-in table for instructions for having it validated. Awards: At clerk table: ribbon awarded to top three finishers in each event. Trophies to first place men’s and women’s team.

Accessibility: The facility is ADA accessible. Call or email ahead for ground-level entrance.
