    10th Annual Steinbrenner Invitational Track and Field Meet Saturday, March, 30th 2019 George M. Steinbrenner High School Elite Timing and Event Management Thank you for your interest in attending our 10th Annual Steinbrenner Invitational Track and Field meet. Entry Fees are $75 per team ($150 for Both Boys & Girls) and $25 per individual Make checks payable to Steinbrenner High School Steinbrenner High School 5575 W. Lutz Lake Fern Rd. Lutz, 33558 Attention: Dennis Derflinger (Steinbrenner Invitational) Payment will be accepted at the meet. Bring Cash or check to the packet pick up area! Registration: DEADLINE TO REGISTER through Direct Athletics is 11:59 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27th. ENTRIES: Field Events 3 entries per field event; 3 attempts per athlete – no Finals At the close of registration, field events will be restricted to the following Shot Put/Discus/Long Jump/Triple Jump Top 32 entries at close of registration will be accepted High Jump/Pole Vault Top 12 – 16 entries for High Jump and Pole Vault Opening heights will be determined at the close of registration Running Events Running events 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 100/110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdle races are unlimited and heats will be determined at entry deadline. **IF NEEDED** races will be capped at 80 runners (10 heats) If no times are submitted at entry, athletes will be placed in the slowest heat for that event. If an event fills at 80 runners (10 heats), then runners with no submitted times will be dropped Running events of 800 meters, 1600meters & 3200 meters will be limited to 4 ENTRIES PER EVENT. Using the Region Meet template, the 3200 will start at 8:30 A.M. There will be an unscored open 1600 “Crazy Sock” race at 9:30 A.M. (Clock will run) Unlimited entries for the Crazy Sock 1600 (Prizes awarded for the “craziest” crazy sock athletes) • Team Trophies will be presented at the conclusion of the final results. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be available when results become available.
