This is a collegiate meet, Women will run 6k and Men will run 8k. If you would like to enter please email Bobby Breon at Rbreon@bakeru.edu 2026 Baker University Mike Spielman Classic Cross Country Meet Information Date: Friday, October 16th, 2026 Time: 5:00pm College Women/Open 6000m 5:40pm College Men/Open 8000m 6:30pm Awards Presentation *Race time is subject to change if heat becomes an issue* Course: Located at the Baldwin City Country Club, Mike Speilman Cross Country Course. It has gentle rolling hills with excellent footing. Athletic trainer: Kye Schmale, Kye.Schmale@bakeru.edu Directions: Coming in on Hwy 56, turn south on Eighth Street. Go about 5 blocks to High Street and turn west. Go about 1 mile on High Street and turn south just before the railroad depot. The golf course entrance is one block away. Parking: Anything larger than a 15 passenger van must park in the lots outside of the golf course entrance at the train depot. We can park team vans on the course as space is available. If rain and or sloppy conditions, you will be asked to use the outside lots. Entries: College teams have unlimited entries, please include TFFRS ID #’s. Unattached runners are allowed to run and pay $30 fee. Unattached athletes must submit their own entries. Baker Alums can enter as a team and fee is waived. Entries will open on Wednesday, September 30th at 7am and will close on Tuesday October 13thth at 6pm. Entries will be made on Direct Athletics Timing: Chip timing by Ticker Timing Entry Fee: $200.00 per gender ($400 for both teams) $30.00 for unattached entries Cash or Check made out to “Baker Cross Country” Awards: The top 10 in each race will receive awards. A championship team plaque will be awarded. Results: Results will be available at the golf course immediately following the meet. The results will also be posted at www.tickertiming.com after the conclusion of the meet.
