West Chester University would like to invite you to compete in our 2026 Purple & Gold Invitational on Saturday, September 26, 2026. This year's meet will be held at our new venue, The Plantation Field (347 Green Valley Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320). The meet offers both short and championship-distance races, making it an excellent opportunity for teams to race developing athletes, top squads, or both. Events Men's Short Course (4K) – 9:00 AM Women's Short Course (4K) – 9:30 AM Men's Long Course (8K) – 10:00 AM Women's Long Course (6K) – 10:45 AM Awards Top two teams in the Short Course competition. Top two teams in the Long Course competition. Top two teams in the Combined Short & Long Course team standings. Top 10 individual finishers in each race will receive commemorative T-shirts.
