Mountain Goat Cross Country Open Mountain Goat Cross Country Championship Course 470 Breakfield Rd The University of the South Sewanee , Tn 37375 Saturday October 3rd, 2026 9:00am CST Men 8000m 9:45am CST Women 6000m Entry Process: All teams and individuals must enter online at DirectAthletics.com. Entries open on Friday, August 28,2026 and close on Monday September 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST . Each team will be allowed unlimited entries Entry Fee: $250 per gender team or $500 total for men’s and women’s teams . If you need to set up payment through your business office or are Unattached/ post collegian, contact coach Curcio at micurcio@sewanee.edu for entry payment information . Payment Process: Team and individual payments can be arranged through the business office or be paid online on DirectAthletics by the end of the registration window on Monday September 30th 1:00pm CST Packet Pick Up: At the Boatbarn(the covered shelter) in the Water tower meadow at the corner of Lake Cheston Rd and Breakfield Rd. Address : 470 Breakfield Rd , Sewanee , TN 37375 Start Time: 9am CST men 945 am CST women Awards : Top 3 teams will receive a commemorative award . Top 15 individuals will receive special commemorative awards Results: Results will be available on https://www.ptgrouponline.com/live-results/ Mile split Calendar or www.Sewaneetigers.com Team Tents: Teams are welcome to place tents near the start line or gate along the fence facing Breakfield Rd. Course: Starting loop and finish loops at the water tower meadow are mostly grass and dirt. The Breakfield Forest trails are sandstone and rock dust . This is the championship course that is different from the Watertower 5K open course No bicycles allowed on the trails that make up the course during the race . Maps are available at www.Sewanetigers.com Cross Country page Parking/Drop-Off: Team buses and team vans will park or drop off in the designated Team parking area near Phil White Dog Park, Lake Cheston Dr Sewanee TN 37375 Spectator parking will be available near the baseball field, Clark field , the goat farm or Lake Cheston Cars and vans CANNOT park on the Breakfield Rd itself See map attached
