Important information for the 51st Annual MDCA Cross Country Invitational September 19, 2026 The course is 50% asphalt and 50% grass. There are quite a few hills and it is viewer friendly. It is a challenge, but a great run. TimingTiming for the meet will be provided by ASP Timing using an automatic chip system. Final results will also be uploaded online. Each athlete will receive a timing chip, which will be included in the coaches’ packet. Chips must be returned at the finish line. A collection bucket will be provided. Please remind your athletes to return their chips immediately after completing their race. ParkingBuses will be directed on where to park by the event management team on site. All spectator vehicles will be directed to available parking areas by the event management team. Spectator parking will be available in the grass lot above the stadium and the lot below the stadium. Please note that these lots will be closed for exiting during races, so expect delays if you choose to park there. Overflow parking will be available at the gymnasium lot. If you arrive after 7:30 AM or plan to leave before the final race, you must park at the gymnasium and walk to the stadium, as the roads will be closed during the early races. TentsTeam tents will be set up on the grass lot directly inside the main gate of the stadium or on the hill next to the stadium. Team tent spots are first come first serve. Personal tents are not permitted in the bleachers. Schedule- ● Course Opens for Warm-ups: 6:30AM ● Check in: 6:30AM ● Spectator Ticket Gates Open: 7:00AM ● Coaches meeting: 7:15AM ● 5K Varsity Girls: 8:00AM ● 5K Varsity Boys: 8:35AM ● 5K Girls/Boys Combined JV : 9:05AM ● 3K Girls/Boys Combined Middle School: 9:45AM ● Awards at 10:20AM Please note: Do not arrive on campus before 6:00 AM on race day. There is absolutely no previewing the course the day before AwardsMedals will be given to the top 10 individuals in each of the varsity races & ribbons will be given out to the top 10 JV/MS boys and top 10 JV/MS girls. First place and runner up trophies will be given out for both genders in the Varsity race PaymentsPayments may be made online using the provided link or by check payable to Mount Dora Christian Academy. All payments must be received on or before meet day. If bringing a check, please give it directly to Meet Director Megan Ziegelhofer during the coaches meeting.
