2026 Pfeiffer University - Middle, High School & College Cross Country Carnival Friday+Saturday, September 4th+5th Pfeiffer University Cross Country Course 48380 US-52, Misenheimer, NC 28109 Time Schedule: Friday-Sept 4 4:00 pm: Facility Opens 5:15 pm: Coaches Meeting 6:00 pm: College Women’s 5k 6:45 pm: College Men’s 5k 7:45 pm: College Awards Sat-Sept 5 8:00 am: Men’s Championship Race (most competitive race) 8:45 am: Women’s Championship 5k Race (most competitive race) 9:30 am: Men’s Invitational 5k Race 10:15 am: Women’s Invitational 5k Race 11:00 am: Middle School Boys 3k Race 11:30 am: Middle School Girls 3k Race 12:00 pm: Awards Entry Cost: Middle+High School Teams can register online at www.ncrunners.com for a max of $70 per gender and/or $125 per school max. Entry Deadline is Wed September 2nd at 11:59pm. If you have more than 35 athletes please add $50 dollars to help cover costs. College entries due via Direct Athletics by Sept 1, 11.59pm. The cost is $200 per gender or $400 per school max. Individual and/or unattached athletes will cost $30 per entry. (Checks should be made payable to Pfeiffer University Cross Country) Entry fees can be mailed or brought and paid on race day for High Schools. The mailing address for Pfeiffer is: W-9=#56-0529990 Attn: Bob Marchinko - Pfeiffer Cross Country Pfeiffer University PO Box 960 Misenheimer, NC 28109 Surface: The 3k/5k/8k courses are a combination of grass and gravel. The course starts and finishes on our athletic practice fields. The 3k=1 loop, 5k = 2 laps, 8k = 3 laps on our scenic wooded Cross-Country Course, each loop is roughly 1.4 miles. Timing: Chip timing provided by Mitchell Timing! Packets: Pick up packets at the tent near the finish line. On the morning of the race. Buses will park at Gray Stone High School which is located near the cross-country course. A map will be sent indicating bus parking and spectator parking. We also will have a drop-off location marked on the map for teams.
