FEAR THE STORM” WHERE: BISHOP MCLAUGHLIN CATHOLIC HS. 13651 HAYS ROAD SPRING HILL 34610 WHEN: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 Registration is limited to the FIRST 8 teams that submit their entry fee. ENTRY FEES: $125 per school, $75 per gender. Please make all checks out to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic HS Checks must be sent to BMCHS PRIOR to the meet.. PARKING FEE: $5.00 CASH OR CARD Gates open at 5pm Coaches Meeting at 5:30pm Girls at 6:00 pm Boys at 6:25pm Awards: Awards directly after race finishes near the Pavilion (Concession Stand). Team Trophies, Individual awards – Top 3 finishers will receive medals. Top 4-8 will receive ribbons (separately for all divisions) . ATHLETE SAFETY: We will have an athletic trainer on site. We have a cold tub for heat emergencies (not recovery). TIMING COMPANY: https://asptiming.com/ DESCRIPTION: Get ready for a fast, fun, and challenging cross country experience! Athletes will race primarily on grass loops winding throughout campus and around the track complex before an exciting stadium start and finish. The course features a variety of terrain including hills, sand, and a few asphalt crossings, and an asphalt track finish in the stadium. This course will challenge runners mentally and physically. This course rewards toughness, strategy, grit, and smart racing. Running shoes or trail shoes are both great options and are highly advised. depending on course conditions and athlete preference. Spikes are not encouraged but only ⅛ spikes would be recommended. TENT CITY: Located in the clearing between the Baseball practice field and the Concession stand. Please do not arrange your tent on the practice field. PARKING: Buses: will park in front of the school on the grass, spectators can park in the school parking lot.
