46th Annual Fort Myers XC Invite Welcome to the 46th annual running of the Fort Myers Invite! The meet originated in 1980 by the former XC coach Richard “Hoppy” Hoptar. This year we will be running again at the Kelly Road Soccer Complex. We will run a traditional morning race this year and we will incorporate the bunny trail loop to make the course more challenging! Meet Costs & Fees: $150 per gender/school. Coaches, please make checks payable to Fort Myers High School and send to the address below: Fort Myers High School, 635 Cortez Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901 Parking: There will also be a parking fee of $5 to help support FMHS athletics. Please let spectators know ahead of time. Gofan.co Schedule: 7:00 am Coaches Meeting (main pavilion) 7:30 am Varsity Girls (< 30 min, 10 per school max) 8:10 am Varsity Boys (< 25 min, 10 per school max) 8:45 am Combined JV 9:30 am Awards Ceremony & FMHS Senior Recognition Awards: Individual Awards: Commemorative T-shirts: (top 20 in Varsity & Top 10 in JV races). JV awards will be given out at the finish line as they finish, varsity at the awards ceremony followed by the FM senior recognition celebration. Team Awards: Top 3 teams will receive a trophy (varsity), and top 2 teams in JV. Tent City: Coaches, please set up your teams in the northwest corner of the complex (above field 2 and to the right of field 5). Teams are not permitted to set up in any other location, especially the renovated fields. Please make every effort to keep your tents and gear off the actual soccer playing fields.
