COURSE MAP - To be added soon Course Information: Whispering Pines - August 30, 2025, Hosted by Citrus High School Address: Whispering Pines Park, 1700 Forest Dr. Inverness, FL 34453 Arrival time: 6:30 Coaches meeting: 7:30 Varsity girls: 8:00 Varsity Boys: 8:35 JV Boys: 9:05 JV Girls: 9:10 Varsity: Top 7 Cost per school: $175 Per team if only one gender: $80. Teams can pay using link: CHS XC WPI 2025 (which will be added soon) OR Make checks out to: Citrus High School XC Att: Karen Tyler 600 W Highland Blvd Inverness, FL 34452 Please send payment by August 22, 2025 Course: Whispering Pines is well known as one of the best courses in the area. It is mostly shaded and a mixture of small hills and flat stretches. Approx. 2.5 miles hard-packed dirt trails, .2 asphalt, .2 lime rock, .2 grass Parking and Tickets: As you enter Whispering Pines Park, at the first stop sign, bus parking will be to the right and cars will go left. Tickets will be checked at the roundabout then proceed right to pool parking. If tickets need to be purchased, cars will pull off into the Splash Pad parking lot. Additional parking will be near the back baseball field off the roundabout. A link for spectator tickets will be added approximately a week before the race, please be sure to share with your teams for advanced purchase.
