Race times: 5:30 P.M. - Women’s 4k 6:15 P.M. - Men’s 6k Entries: Unlimited entries. Enter the meet using Direct Athletics by the entry deadline of Wednesday, September 4 at noon. Please email Rob Ahrens (ahrens009@gannon.edu) if you are interested in participating in this meet. The number of teams will be limited so please reach out ASAP. Fee: $150 per team (Men + Women = 2 teams, $300). $25/individual for teams with less than 6 individuals. You can mail your entry fee to the address below or deliver on race day. Rob Ahrens Gannon University 109 University Square Erie, PA 16541 Course: Fully grass/dirt course with rolling hills. The course is located at Pleasant Ridge Park, the location of the 2007 GLIAC Championships. The park is in Girard, not on the campus of either Mercyhurst or Gannon! Pleasant Ridge Park 8271 Barker Rd Girard, PA 16417 Locker Facilities: Bathrooms are available at the park. Locker rooms will be available upon request at Gannon University after the meet from 7-9 PM. Awards: T-shirts will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in each race. Awards will take place at approximately 6:50pm prior to the start of the alumni race. Additionally, 2024 Race at the Park t-shirts will be available for purchase at the meet. This meet is intended to be a fun opener with a relaxed atmosphere. There is a disc golf course, sand volleyball court, and pavilion at the park.
