Will be held at Crews Lake Park. $150 per team $75 for 1 gender *ONLY 7 RUNNERS IN VARSITY RACES* Coaches, The Land O' Lakes HS Cross Country program invites you and your teams to the 2023 Gator "Keppel" Invitational on Saturday, September 30 at Crews Lake Park. Entry Fee: $150 per school or $75 per team (boys, girls), JV included Make check payable to: Land O' Lakes High School Athletic Booster Club 20325 Gator Lane, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638. Payment: Entry check due by Monday, September 25th. Attn: Cross Country or Mike Zwijacz Meet Size: First 20 schools to register with athletes entered. Race Schedule 7:40 Coaches Meeting (Shelter 1) Varsity Girls - 8am (Top 7) Varsity Boys - 8:35 (Top 7) JV COULD BE COMBINED based on numbers so plan accordingly. JV Boys - 9:10am (unlimited) JV Girls - 9:15 am (unlimited) Meet Address: 16739 Crews Lake Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34610-0840. PHONE: (727) 861-3038 Course Description: The 5K course will begin and end in the athletic field in the center of the park and will be run in a clockwise direction. It will feature roughly 50% paved roads and paved bike path, and 50% grass and mulched trails. The two loop course will be fun and challenging, and spectator friendly. Parking: Cars/Buses will be directed by our volunteers on where to park. Please listen to them. If you need to leave before the end of the meet, just let them know and they will have you park by the entrance of the park so it doesn't disrupt the meet or compromise the safety of the runners. We understand that some people cannot stay the whole meet and that is fine, please just encourage those parents to park by the entrance. Timing: Athletics Scoring Providers-- returnable chips Entries: You must enter ALL athletes who will be running, including JV runners Entries must be added by Monday, Sept 26th at 11:59pm Awards: Varsity: * Top 10 runners will receive a custom Gator Invitational "Top 10" t-shirt * Varsity Trophies- Top 2 Teams *JV Trophy for 1st Place *JV Top 10 Individuals- Medals Questions: Race day cell phone for Coach Zwijacz is 813-785-1635// zwijaczm@gmail.com
