The Daniel Walker Invitational is a 5k for both genders at Beaver Island State Park. The course is mostly flat, and a great opportunity for your younger athletes to compete at their first meet of the year, while keeping things low pressure. Beaver Island is located near Niagara Falls and the city of Buffalo, which could lead to some great team bonding activities early int he year.
