IMPORTANT ITEMS:

1. All field events participants will be allowed four attempts, with the exception of high jump and pole vault.

2. Schools will be allowed four entries per event. One relay team per gender, per school.

3. Each school will be assigned a field event to officiate. Official Assignments can be found on the attached schedule. Please report promptly to your assigned area so that events can begin on time (1pm)

4. Tents can be set up in the grassy area in front of or in the fence line of the outdoor basketball courts or in practice field area near away side stadium.

5. Athletes ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE INFIELD. A warm-up area will be established outside the track behind away side stadium not to interfere with jump pits. There is no warming up on the field. Only competing athletes are allowed on the infield and will be escorted to a particular holding area. (Staging)

6. In the long and triple jump area, we will be checking in at the sight through a gate near the pits. Athletes will be checked in by flight and flight only. In other words, ONLY ONE FLIGHT will be allowed in the jump arena at a time. The others MUST remain in the designated area along the back fence.

7. The throwing and pole vault areas are away from the track. We ask that athletes and fans please be aware of throwing areas and to stay your distance when viewing.

8. It is a school day. We ask that student-athletes DO NOT WONDER ONTO THE SCHOOL CAMPUS, or they will be scratched from the meet and considered trespassing.

9. As per HCPS guidelines, javelins must be transported in a carrying case and remain in that case until the start of the javelin competition. This is a serious safety issue and athletes are warned not to violate the safety protocols. Athletes cannot warm up with their javelins until their flight is up and they have checked in.

10. Check-in for all racing events will occur at the start line of the 110H. Please remind your athletes to listen for announcements. We will be checking in via gender. Girls will check in first.

11. Remind your athletes top 4 per event will qualify for County Championships and the next 4 at large bids will also qualify.
