ODA THUNDER CLASSIC 2026 DATE: Wednesday, April 1st 2026 LOCATION: Out-of-Door Academy 5950 Deer Drive, Sarasota, FL ENTRY FEE: $300 per School Checks payable to: The Out-of-Door Academy ATTN: Athletics | Thunder Classic Invoice provided by contacting aparra@oda.edu SCHEDULE: 3:45 Coaches Meeting 4:00 Field events and jumping events start, Finals - 3 Attempts (check in at event) 4:00 4 x 800 girls, followed by boys 4:45 Senior Recognition 5:00 Running Events (Finals) FIELD EVENTS ORDER: Starting at 4pm Girls Long jump, followed by boys long jump; then, Girls triple jump, followed by boys triple jump Girls shot put, followed by boys Boys discus, followed by girls Boys high jump, followed by girls Girls pole vault girls, then boys Girls Jav, followed by boys RUNNING FINALS ORDER (All finals, no prelims. Girls followed by boys): 100/110m HH 100M 1600m 4 x100m 400m 400mh 800m 200m 3200m 4x400 TRACK RESTRICTIONS: Only 1/8 and 1/4 inch pyramid spikes allowed. Only those athletes who are warming up should be on the north end of the field; no athletes should be near the timing tent on the south end of the field. Please keep athletes off the infield/away from discus until discus is complete. Athletes must check in with the clerk outside the 100m start at FIRST CALL. Please let your athletes know this. Please do not let them get disqualified. AWARDS: Team Awards for champion and runner-up for both girls and boys Individual medals for the top 3 in each event TEAM/ATHLETE INFO: Entries - 4 entries per event. Teams may enter 1 relay team. Parking/Arrival - Please do not arrive to campus prior to 3:30pm to allow for carline to clear. Parking will be on campus Tent City All teams set up outside of the fenced track area in surrounding grassy areas. No tents allowed in bleachers. Warm-up area is the north side of infield area after the conclusion of the discuss. No electronics on infield per FHSAA rules. Please remind your athletes so they do not get disqualified. An athletic trainer will be on site. PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR TEAM AREA. TRASH CANS PROVIDED. The concession stand will be open All athletes must clear the infield as soon as their event is completed.
