The HBCU Relays Experience – Collegiate Meet will feature top college and university programs from across the region, creating a competitive and spirited environment that celebrates athletic excellence, community, and culture. This year’s event expands to a two-day format, with the high school division competing on Friday, April 10, and the collegiate division on Saturday, April 11. All events will be timed finals. The meet will begin with field events, followed by a short break, and then transition into running events on a rolling schedule. The meet schedule is subject to change based on final entries. Please check back regularly for updates. Each school may enter up to three (3) athletes per event, and two (2) relay teams per event, except for the 4 x 400 mixed relay, which is limited to one entry per school. Entries for boys and girls must be submitted separately in DirectAthletics for the 4x400 mixed relay. The meet will conclude with the exciting 4x400 mixed relay, an opportunity for teams to compete for bragging rights and the title of HRE Mixed Relay Champion! Entry fees, deadlines, and payment instructions can be found in the tentative schedule. Early submission of entries and payments is strongly encouraged to secure your spot. We encourage all collegiate programs to team up with their recruitment staff and secure a space in the “Collegiate Exchange Zone,” an area designed to foster meaningful conversations with student-athletes about your institution and athletic program.
