Cocoa HS Track - 2000 Tiger Trail, Cocoa, FL 32926 TENTATIVE SCHEDULE Friday, March 8, 2024 Field Events: 3 Attempts (No finals) 5:30pm - Shot Put (7G/8G/7B/8B) 5:30pm - Long Jump (7B/8B/7G/8G) Running Events: 11:30pm (Rolling Schedule) (7G/7B/8G/8B) ● 1600m (4 Heats) ● 400m (8 Heats) ● 100m (8 Heats) ● 4x200m (4 Heat) ● 800m (4 heats) ● 200m (8 Heats) ● 4x100m (4 Heat) March 8, 2024 Entry Deadline: Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 Entries Posted: Thursday, March 7th, 2024 Entry Limits: ● Individual: 2 field, 2 running ● Teams: 2 Runners, 2 Jumpers ● 1 entry per school for 4x100 & 4x200 relays. Team Entry Fee: Free Spectator Entry Fee: Adults - $5, Students $3 Concessions: TBD Facility: Cocoa HS Track - 2000 Tiger Trail, Cocoa, FL 32926 Parking: TBD Timing: Robert Van Warm-up Area/Team Camp: Each team will have their own section in the infield.. (See Map) Throwing Implements: Will need to be picked up immediately after shot put. Please remember to mark your implements for identification. You may borrow a cart for transport to and from your vehicle. (If needed) Coaches Meeting: 11:10pm Will be located at the North End of the facility near the Team Entrance. Practice Time: Track will be open from 4:00-5:00pm for practice. Track Spikes: ¼ inch Pyramid Spikes ONLY! Relay Markers: Bring Tape or Flat Markers (No tennis balls) Behavior: We expect coaches to police their athletes behavior. There will be zero-tolerance for any disrespect.
