Individual/Unattached Athlete Guidelines Unattached Entry Procedure Unattached entries are subject to approval by the coaching staff. Priority will go to invited teams unattached entries and elite performances. The program director will determine field sizes for an efficient and smooth-running meet. Generally, every entry will be at the discretion of the coaching staff’s approval. Unattached entries are considered exhibition and not guaranteed preferred lanes or heats. NCAA Rules will govern competition. Unattached athletes must complete a waiver prior to competing and are required to pay the individual fee. The meet directors and the University reserves the right to decline unattached participant requests at any time, with guidance of university policies and procedures.
