GENERAL DETAILS

  The Royal Invitational will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, March 9, 2024.  Gates will open at 6:30am. 

  Entry fee is set at $150 / gender (Please bring your check)

  4 Participants per school in each event, 2 Relay team per school

  Elite Timing

  ALL events with have a certified official

  $10 Gate Admission (Elementary Students $5)

  TShirts will be on sale for $20 limited supply

  Full Concession area will be open - $5 minimum when using card

AWARDS

  Awards will be presented in each event First - Eighth Place

  Plaque - 1st Place

  Medals - 2nd - 6th Places

  Ribbons - 7th - 8th Places

  Team Winner and Runner Up Trophies

  MVP - Boys and Girls

  Preliminary Races begin in the morning - Schedule of Events is attached

RULES

  No tents in the stands or on the home side this includes patrons, all tents must be set up behind the visitors stands

  No food, gum, and clear liquids inside the black gate in the track area

  Only one Coach per school in the field event area

  Please assign one of your Coaches to assist the meet officials in the field events (send name and preference of event)

  All Athletes, Coaches, and Patrons must have on a wristband at all times.

  Coaches will receive tickets for meals and may present them at the concession area for redemption

  All Spikes must be checked and tagged before entering the track area

  Visiting Athletes are not allowed in TFA locker rooms

  Vulgar Language, Gestures or an Unsporting Act will result in immediate Disqualification of the Athlete

PARKING - See Campus Map Attached

  Parking for the bus and patrons will be outside the complex in lot C, buses may drop off but must exit immediately. Parking in the complex is limited to TFA boosters, Volunteers and Meet Officials

ATHLETIC TRAINING & SAFETY

  Sports Med will be located under the Home Stands

  Warmup Area is on the grass Practice field

  Throwing of any kind must take place in the event area (Shot/Javelin/ Discus)

PROCESS & FLOW

  The CLERK OF COURSE (check in) will be on the home side nearest the start of the 100M

  All participants must enter at the CLERK OF COURSE AREA and exit UNDER THE SCOREBOARD immediately following the completion of their race

  Winners of each event will receive their award on the infield area, all other winners 2nd -8th will pick up at the medal distribution tent

  8 Fastest times go to finals regardless of heat (Heat winners do Not automatically qualify for finals)

  We will measure the first Jump or Throw for each Athlete after that they will have to reach the Standard set for that Event
