Windermere Meet of Champions Classic

Coaches,

 

Please join us in competing at the 5th Annual Windermere Meet of Champions to be held February 25, 2023. Your student athletes will be competing on a 9.7 million dollar athletic facility. Meet entry fees are $250 per school or $125 per gender. Teams will be allowed 4 entries per event. The meet will be scored with Team Champion and Runner-up awards being awarded for each gender. Medals will be awarded for 1st place, with ribbons for second through third. The meet will use F.A.T. timing and will have live results.

 

Meet registration will be submitted through directathletics.com with a deadline of 11:59 p.m. Wednesday February 22, 2023. No phone, email or faxed entries will be allowed. Please make check payable to Windermere High School, attention Track and Field. If you plan to pay before the meet, please mail your check to 5523 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere, FL 34786 with Attention Jason Greer, Head Track and Field Coach. This meet is sanctioned by the FHSAA and all FHSAA rules will be enforced.  Coaches after dropping your student athletes, please have the bus park at Windermere High School, approximately one mile from the track (5523 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Windermere, FL 34786).  Please make sure you have communication with the driver in case of inclement weather. Also, please be advised that parking on the adjacent easement across from the track is prohibited.

 

 

Reminder: Online Registration for this meet will be on direct athletics and close on 02/22/23 11:59 PM . 

 

Field Event Cut off Marks will be decided at the coach’s meeting

Spectator Entry Fee: $10.00

 

We will have 1 heat of 16 the 800m, 1 Heat of 24 in the 1600m and 1 heat of 24 in the 3200m during the finals.  If required, the slow heats of these races will be run earlier in the day to ensure all get a time.

 

         Gates will open at 7AM for teams/coaches

         Gates will open at 8AM for public

         Weigh ins will be located near the flag pole

         No parking at the track or on the adjacent easement, vehicles subject to a tow

         all parking will be at the Highschool and shuttle over.
