59th ED WELLS KIWANIS INVITATIONAL TRACK MEET

Dear Coach,

 The Ed Wells Invitational for boys and girls will be held on March 11,2023. The entry fee is

$350.00 per school. That includes both the boys' and girls' teams. If only one team competes it is

$200.00 Individuals are $25.00 This is a quality meet which is run in accordance with the National Federation of High

Schools' Track and Field rules.  This is a meet in which medals are awarded to the top eight

places in each event. And, as always, two coaches from each team are provided with a free

meal voucher.

This year the meet will be seeded and timed by Elite Timing.

Field events will begin at 9:00am. The schedule and order of events are attached

Coaches Meeting will begin at 8:30am Please meet at Northeast end of Stadium.

Entry will be at the South Gate only-exit through the North Gate only

58^th ANNUAL ED WELLS, JR. – KIWANIS INVITATIONAL

SCHEDULE & ORDER OF EVENTS

 

No implement weigh-in. Coaches meeting at 8:15am. Field events begin at 9:00am, races at 9:15am. All races will be finals, schedule is posted below. 4 athletes per team can be entered in any of the running events and 3 athletes per team can be entered in any of the jumping or throwing events. Throws and jumps will be limited entries. Throws and horizontal jumps will be limited to top 36 marks entered. Vertical jumps will be limited to the top 24 marks entered, including ties. Qualifiers in throws and horizontal jumps will be given three attempts with no finals.
