Windermere Meet of Champions

Located at Deputy Scott Pine Community Park, 6865 Ficquette Rd, Windermere, FL 34786

 

Coaches,

 

Please join us in competing at the 4th Annual Windermere Meet of Champions to be held February 27, 2021. Your student athletes will be competing on a 9.7 million dollar athletic facility. Meet entry fees are $250 per school or $125 per gender. Teams will be allowed 2 entries per event. The meet will be scored with Team Champion and Runner-up awards being awarded for each gender. Medals will be awarded for 1st place, with ribbons for second through third. The meet will use F.A.T. timing and will have live results.

 

Meet registration will be submitted through directathletics.com with a deadline of 11:59 p.m. Wednesday February 24, 2021. No phone, email or faxed entries will be allowed. Please make check payable to Windermere High School, attention Track and Field. If you plan to pay before the meet, please mail your check to 5523 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere, FL 34786 with Attention Jason Greer, Head Track and Field Coach. This meet is sanctioned by the FHSAA and all FHSAA rules will be enforced.  Coaches after dropping your student athletes, please have the bus park at Windermere High School, approximately one mile from the track (5523 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Windermere, FL 34786).  Please make sure you have communication with the driver in case of inclement weather. Also, please be advised that parking on the adjacent easement across from the track is prohibited.

 

COVID NOTES: Do to seating and COVID restrictions, we will limit spectator entry capacity and spectator seating. More information to come! Team camps will be decided prior to arrival. More information to come regarding COVID and Team Attendance.

 

Spectators Information: Coaches, PER COVID Guidelines , each one of your student athletes participating in the meet will only be allowed two paid spectators in the facility. Please stay tune as we will update the site for spectator ticket distribution information.

Important Reminder: We will not have any unseeded competition this Meet of Champions. We will have two heats of the 800 and possibly the mile with a fast heat of each. We will have one heat of the 3200. All of which will be run during regular scheduled competition.

 

         Gates will open at 7AM for teams/coaches

         Gates will open at 8AM for general public

         Weigh ins will be located near the flag pole

         Teams will have designated seating areas Per COVID

         No parking on the adjacent easement, vehicles subject to a tow

         Once our parking lot fills, we will have a shuttle to the main campus for additional parking.

         A spectator ticket link (first come, first serve) will be provide to your AD’s.
