58^th Ed Wells Kiwanis Invitational

Track & Field Meet

MARCH 6, 2021

 

Dear Coach,

 

The Ed Wells Invitational for boys and girls will be held on March 6, 2021. The entry fee is $400.00 per school (this includes both the boys and girls teams). If only one team competes it will be $225.00. If your team no longer wishes to join please send an email to zeronra@pcsb.org asap as there are schools on the waiting list. This is a quality meet which is run in accordance to the FHSAA-Florida High School Athletic Association Track and Field Rules. Medals are awarded to the top eight places in each event. And, as always, coaches from each team are provided with a free meal voucher. This year the meet will be seeded and timed by Elite Timing.

 

The schedule and order of events are attached. Coaches Meeting will begin at 8:30am; please meet at Northeast end of Stadium. Entry will be at the South Gate only and exit through the North Gate only! Each School will be asked to officiate one of the field events!

The Pinellas County Covid-19 Release Form is mandatory and must be signed by every student-athlete before entering. All Coaches and Volunteers will also be required to sign a Release Form. Kiwanis will be collecting these release forms upon entering (attachments attached).

 

Masks must be worn by everyone (unless actively participating in a race or an event). NO MASKS WILL BE PROVIDED!

 

T-Shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event (limited amount)!

Top 16 entries in Vertical jumps.

Four entrees per school in Horizontal jumps or throws.

Jumps and throws not meeting the eighth place mark will not be measured.

All participants will have three attempts.

No Finals.
