Information: Collecting Entries with DirectAthletics.com
Thousands of track & field, cross country and swim meets use DA to collect entries every year. A wide variety of events use DA, from very large meets like the Texas Relays to high school dual meets. Our entry system can be configured to the specific needs of your event.
Easy to Use
DirectAthletics.com is the largest online entry sytem for timed sports, which means most teams entering your meets already have accounts with up to date rosters, and they are already familiar with our system. This cuts down on wasted time and minimizes errors.
Flexible Entry Configuration
Our entry system can be configured to support a wide variety of entry rules and parameters. You can limit the teams (and individual athletes) that can enter your meet, restrict the number of entries per athlete or team, enforce seed cutoffs and require additional information.
Import Entries With Ease
No matter what software you use to run your meet, importing entries from DirectAthletics is easy and reliable. Our entries can be imported into all meet management programs. You can even import entries directly from our own meet management software, MeetPro.
Championships and Qualifiers
If your conference has a performance list on DirectAthletics, entry can be configured to only accept declarations for qualified athletes and relays. Qualification parameters can be customized to the needs of your conference.
Seeds from Results
If your conference has standardized on DirectAthletics, there’s no need to use seed times at all! Our “seeds from results” feature lets you download the best time or mark achieved during a custom date range, for every athlete entered. Cut out the “guesswork” of seeding by using accurate, bona fide results as entry times/marks.
Collect entry fees from teams and individual athletes using our secure payment system.
