Meet Notes:
The 2014 OVC Championship is open to all members of the Ohio Valley Conference. UT-Martin is the official host of this year's event however the championship will be contested at the Oxford Lake Recreation Center in Oxford, AL (site of the 2012 championship meet). The women's 5k event (course record 17:24.96 Maria Elbon Belmont University 2012) will be run at 9:00 AM followed by the men's 8k (course record 24:01.75 Soufiance Bouchikhi Eastern Kentucky 2012) will follow at 10:00 AM. Coaches may enter any number of athletes (per team) initially, however only eight athletes per team may compete in the championship. FYI - Oxford, AL is in the Central time zone.
