The 3rd Annual Battlefield Cross Country Festival presented by The Louisiana Marathon will take place on Saturday, September 27 at the Port Hudson State Historic Site in Jackson, LA. Last year 39 schools and nearly 1,000 athletes participated in the second year of the meet. The meet is hosted by the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation in conjunction with Zachary High School. Entry fee is $50 per school. Entry fee allows you to enter an unlimited number of athletes. Entries must be received by Wednesday, September 24 at 11:59 p.m. Make checks payable to Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation. Coaches can mail payment to: Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation, Battlefield XC Festival, 359 Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801. Payment will be also be accepted via credit card or check on meet day. All entry fees are non-refundable. Plaques will be given to the top 3 teams in all scored divisions. T-shirts will be awarded to the top 20 individuals in each division. Final results will be posted at the race and posted online at www.brasf.com shortly after the meet concludes. The Port Hudson State Historic site is located on US 61 in East Feliciana Parish, about 25 minutes north of Baton Rouge and 10 minutes south of historic St. Francisville.
