Meet Notes: Course: Boys will run 3 miles. Girls will run 2 miles. The course is mowed grass surface with several challenging hills. There is approximately 120 m of asphalt the athletes will run on to get to the other side of the park.
Coaches: If you've attended in the last 3-4 years we took advantage of DA's scheduling system to schedule the race for your team to make it easier to register your team for the event. If you elect not to attend, please delete your team. We hope to see have you attend though. Great cross country race course!!! (As of 6/10/08 12 teams confirmations received).
Timing: Chip timing will be used. Up to 7 chips for each varsity team, and all runners on each JV team. Schools will be charged $20 for each lost/non-returned chips.

Parking is returning to old format, cars at field by main entrance, and buses in field nearer pavillion. There will be no parking around the back road!!!
Awards: Team Trophy to Meet Champ and Runner-Up. (5A, 4A, 3A-1A, Junior High Boys and Junior High Girls) & Medals for Individuals Top 10 in each race. 4A schools will run with 3A-1A, but will be timed and awarded separately. Race T-Shirts: $10.00 and concession stand.
Entry Fee: Varsity - $125 each JV teams $100 each Indiv.:$15 each
Example: VB – 125, JVB – 100 = $225 total
VG – 125, JVG – 100 = $225 total
A school that enters 2 varsity teams (girls and boys) and 2 jv teams (girls and boys) will pay $400.00. That saves you $50 for all 4 teams.
Multiple varsity teams (only 2) can be entered per gender, but will be scored as a separate team ( MHS Blue & MHS Gold). Each team is $ 125. 2nd team must be registered separately if running in the same race (2 varsities in 5A or the 4A/1-3A race). If running 4A in 5A separate team registration is not required, but you still have to pay for 2 varsity teams.
Middle School: $150 per school ($75 per gender group). DO NOT register middle school teams on Direct Athletics.
