    We cordially invite your team to the 3rd annual CBHS Invitational Track Meet. Hosted by the Christian Brothers High School Track coaching staff and sponsored by the Christian Brothers Track Boosters Club. Information website: www.cbhs.org. Date: April 24 and 25, 2009. Admission-$5, under 12-$2. Ticket stubs are required for free second day admission. Competing athletes MUST wear their uniforms for free admission. Times: Coaches please pick up your packets by 3:30 Friday. Field and running events start at approximately 4 PM Friday after the invocation/opening. Location: Tom Nix Field, Christian Brothers High School, 5900 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN, 38120. Format: All events will be in standard TSSAA format. Maximum of 4 entries per athlete, regardless of field or running. Uniform rule will be in effect. Each event will be limited to 3 entries per event per school. FinishLynx FAT equipment will be used for each running event with times posted at the Press Box immediately following the event read-out. Infield events: flights will be seeded based on best entries. Flights will be measured as final marks. Four attempts may be made in all throwing events. Field Event Entry Minimums: Triple/Long Jump-maximum of 4 attempts. Pole Vault--No limit. High Jump starting bar height: 4 ft women/5 ft men. Pole Vault starting height: 6 ft women/10 ft men. Discus starting distance: 60 ft women/90 ft men. Shot Put starting distance: 20 ft women/30 ft men. Registration: Coaches must enter their athletes online at www.directathletics.com. Registration will open Sunday, February 15th at 12:00 AM. Registration will close at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 21. We will accept online entries ONLY. There is NO event day registration. Absolutely NO CHANGES after 9 AM, Thursday, April 22; AND those are only accepted in writing via email to jchance1@comcast.net. Only name changes and drops/withdrawals will be accepted after registration closure. Fees: Each boys/girls team will be charged $60, or $120 for co-ed squads from the same school. Please make checks or money orders payable to: CBHS Track. Fees will be collected at packet pick-up. Please contact Coach David Ligon via e-mail (dligon@cbhs.org) for approval of an individual sign-up. Schedule of Events: Final format will be posted with approximate times of events. Start times are approximate based upon historical data and every effort will be made to say on schedule. Detailed schedules and schedule adjustments will be made as the date of the meet approaches based upon total number of registered athletes. ALL athletes MUST be present 30 minutes prior to their race for check-in. The following will occur on Friday afternoon: ALL field events, women/men 3200M, 110/100M Hurdles. ALL other running events will start Saturday morning at 10 AM. There is a coaches meeting on the field at 3:30 on Friday afternoon and at 9:30 AM on Saturday. Awards: Medals to First and Second place finishes. Ribbons to all Third to Eighth place finishes. NOTICE TO ALL TEAMS: Absolutely NO canopies or tents may be set-up on the infield. There is ample room behind the Press Box for all to set-up team areas and warm-up. Your cooperation in this is greatly appreciated.
