Come Join us for the second annual “Beat the Heat” invite. The race takes place on the redwood coast; know for its mild temperature and scenic views. The region is centrally located close to Oregon, Redding/Chico area and the North Coast Section; an ideal meeting place for all three regions. The course itself is on the campus of College of the Redwoods. This invite offers free camping on site with bathrooms and showers.Date: Saturday, September 8th, 2012 Place: College of the Redwoods, Eureka California Cost: $40 for both genders and $5 for and open athlete. (Timers need to eat) 2:00 PM - High School Girls (5K) 2:40PM - High School Boys (5K)
