The 11th edition of the Music City Distance Carnival will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. This meet is perennially one of the strongest gatherings of middle-distance and long-distance runners in the United States. In its relatively short history, the meet has yielded sixteen sub-4 minute miles and the fastest outdoor mile ever seen in the state of Tennessee. For the second year, the Music City Distance Carnival is proud to partner with Bring Back The Mile in an effort to showcase the classic distance.
